Aviation Open Day at the Kraków Aero Club
„If human genius leads to the point where man masters the air, I believe it will be the greatest invention since the discovery of fire and the wheel, and it will be especially important because it will develop and enrich the human mind in ways that are beyond prediction…” – Kazimierz Tetmajer (Aviator and Motorist, 1913)
The idea of creating a representation and authority for sports aviation originated in Poznań, where in 1919 the Polish Aero Club was established. However, due to the difficult economic situation in the country, the club ceased to exist. It wasn’t until 1927, after a series of organizational meetings, that on December 15th, at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Polish Aero Club was officially established. The first decision of the Aero Club authorities was to establish contacts with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), which had been in existence since 1905 in Paris.
At the same time as the establishment of the Polish Aero Club, aeroclubs were being created at the initiative of students. The first „Academic Aero Club” was founded in Warsaw, followed by one in Kraków.
A place where anyone can take off to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of Niepołomice, the winding ribbon of the Vistula River, or even distant mountains.

These images feature equipment displayed during the event, most of which were created using embossing techniques. This effect can serve as a great overlay on other graphics or as a clean watermark. The effect is transparent, and the background does not interfere with the view.
The selected graphics illustrate my skills in changing and affecting the visual appearance of a person, object, or landscape based on the original background. The final effect is subjective and covers a specific time frame. Each of us perceives things differently, and each of us has a different time frame or skill set. Posts published periodically with a specific thematic project aim to systematically collect materials illustrating graphic possibilities.
Enjoy viewing!
