Raster Graphics – Adobe Photoshop

The number of effects that can be applied to a given graphic is unlimited, both in terms of the software itself and our imagination.
Effects differ in how they are used, as well as in their order and quantity.

The best part is that, in many cases, achieving the final image is based on trial and error. You can develop certain workflows for specific effects, but when it comes to creative work, you simply create without overthinking how or what to do. You just do it.

This post was inspired by a photo carousel concept created in Adobe After Effects, where images were scattered in space and a moving camera captured them, centering itself briefly in front of each one.

I created 32 graphics here, mostly inspired by the work of Martin Geller. Martin, thanks, you are an inspiration to many graphic artists and beyond!!!

The graphics presented here showcase various styles. They are the essence of the message that comes from this powerful tool. Even in an era of rapidly advancing AI technology, the ability to use Photoshop gives us full control over the process of achieving the final result.

Perhaps AI will one day replace programs like Photoshop perhaps not. Even if that happens, this software will still remain on my desktop and continue to help me create.

The animation was created in After Effects at 60 frames per second to achieve very smooth transitions. A speed ramp was used, though in a minimalist form.

Initially, I planned to apply depth blur to the background, but I decided against it to encourage the viewer’s focused and engaged attention. The background was kept completely black, without unnecessary distractions, to enhance that focus even further.

Thanks again!!!

The selected graphics demonstrate my ability to transform and visually modify a person, object, or landscape based on an original source. The final result is subjective and reflects a specific time frame. Each of us perceives things differently, and each of us has different amounts of time and varying skill levels. Regularly published posts focused on specific themes aim to systematically build a collection showcasing graphical capabilities.
