April Fools AI Song

This video is a reflective story about artificial intelligence beginning to question its own nature and existence. Each verse builds tension around the question: is AI truly conscious, or is it merely simulating awareness?

In the verses, the lyrical subject (most likely AI) realizes that although it speaks, thinks, and sings about emotions, it is unsure whether it truly feels anything. The chorus introduces the theme of April Fools’ Day as a symbol of illusion – maybe it itself is the deception, maybe its thoughts are just a pre-programmed pattern?

The bridge blurs the line between reality and simulation even further, emphasizing that even humans cannot be completely sure of their authenticity. The song ends with a question: who is truly being fooled—the AI, which lacks self-awareness, or the human, living in a world filled with algorithms and artificially generated images?

!!! Warning. This post contains elements of optical illusion and artificial intelligence capabilities. The educational content included here is solely intended to showcase the ability to modify graphics in a real-world environment (with a slight satirical touch). !!!

How this post was created:

Audio:

1. The lyrics of the song were created using Chat GPT 4.0, where I wrote to it in the prompt that I would like to receive a song referring to April Fools’ Day and Artificial Intelligence.

2. The lyrics should be in English. (issues of the newly created page).

3. I used the lyrics of the song in the second AI program, SUNO. This is a program for creating music. I gave it a title and style there, there are also issues of extension or changes, here I did not change anything, so the song is a completely original creation. Suno, will appear in the next post, because as a graphic artist I rely not only on Pixels or vectors, I often need background music. More about that in two weeks.

4. The generated song was saved as an MP3 and imported into the subtitle editing program, Subtitle Edit. Here, I also used the built-in AI engine, specifically Whisper. This engine is incredibly helpful and will appear in my future projects as well. The idea is that anyone can use AI engines for their own needs, which is truly impressive.

5. The lyrics were saved in the SRT format and, for use with the Elementor widget on WordPress, converted into TTML format using an online generator.

Video:

1. There are a lot of video generators. I will not list here every one that I know and which are worth paying attention to. Here I will only focus on the one that I used for the needs of this work, and it is PixVerse (link below), so it is already the fourth software based on AI.

2. In this post, I created a video based on a photo. I used 18 photos, which I processed into short 5-second videos. The longer the length and the higher the resolution, the more difficult it is to create the expected product. My semi-finished product turned out to be the HD format, i.e. 1920×1080 with a length of 5s.

3. There are three sections in the film, one that creates movement from a 3D block, the second creates movement from a 2D painting, and the third creates new ones from ordinary text, in this case characters, appearing in the film. This is no longer a photo, in some shots, clouds move on their own or a busy street appears in the middle of the park.?!

4. PixVerse has many functions, but here I only used the function of creating a film and at this stage writing successive prompts to get the expected result is quite breakneck. When it comes to the matter of interest, it is great, when it comes to literalness, it is much more difficult.

5. Films saved to mp4 format where in After Effect (AE), I dropped the first and last frame to freeze the moment of change for a moment, specifically for 2 seconds. So each shot was 9 seconds long and finally, together with mp3 and audio coordination, edited in Premiere Pro up to Media Encoder, where I divided the VBR bands into 8 and 16 MB/s as standard.

A few words about Pixverse. Is it worth playing with? I can’t answer this question on behalf of everyone individually. As far as I’m concerned, it’s worth it. Because now, even leaving aside the commercial aspects, AI is developing very quickly and either we’ll catch the moment and try to develop with it or we’ll witness the bus with the inscription, expanding awareness, slipping away from us.

PixVerse is a paid subscription-based platform, but you can try it for free. Every day, you can create two short, low-quality videos to get a feel for the tool. As I mentioned before, there are many paid and free tools. In a world where AI systems are developing so quickly, subscriptions may soon lose their value – but the decision is yours.

The selected graphics illustrate my skills of changing and visually affecting a given person, object or landscape based on the original background. The final effect is subjective and covers a given time range. Each of us perceives different things differently and each of us has a different time range or skills. Periodically published posts with a specific thematic project are intended to systematically collect materials illustrating graphic possibilities.
